COVID-19: How to request PPE

Since the beginning of this pandemic in our state, we’ve demanded PPE from the State for all home care workers. On today’s tele-town hall, we shared the news from DSHS that if you’re an Individual Provider, you can now request enough PPE – including surgical masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields – for a 31-day period by contacting your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) or the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).

You’ll have to complete a few screening questions and file a request, and then the AAA or DDA will place an order on your behalf. Your order will then be verified and shipped to you within 24-72 hours of your request.
