On June 30, SEIU 775 held our second annual #CareIsEssential celebration of Alaska caregivers in Anchorage.
Caregivers – also known as Personal Care Attendants, who care for seniors and people with disabilities – as well as their family members and clients were all in attendance. Speakers included local caregivers, Senator Elvi Gray-Jackson, Representative Liz Snyder, and SEIU 775 President Sterling Harders.
