SEIU 775 caregivers across Washington state came together, reviewed the issues, interviewed the people running for office in Washington, and are proud to endorse the following candidates and oppose ballot initiatives that threaten Washington’s progress.

Statewide Ballot Initiatives
MAGA millionaire Brian Heywood is back at his antics again, pouring millions of his own dollars to attack basic human rights and to repeal the Millionaires Tax and avoid paying his fair share in taxes. Caregivers urge Washington Voters to VOTE NO on all three initiatives.

Montana
For the first time, SEIU 775 Montana participated in the endorsement process for an open congressional seat. Our members interviewed four candidates over two evenings and emerged with an enthusiastic endorsement of union leader and smokejumper Sam Forstag for Montana’s First Congressional District.
The 2026 U.S. Senate race presents another unique opportunity. For only the third time in the past fifty years, Montana has an open U.S. Senate seat with no incumbent on the ballot. Following a member-led endorsement process that included interviews with two U.S. Senate candidates, SEIU 775 members in Montana endorsed Independent candidate Seth Bodnar for U.S. Senate.
