Tangie Webb (she/her)

SEIU 775 Vice President

Tangie is a Vice President at SEIU 775 and leads our Union’s largest department, the Member Resource Center (MRC), ensuring caregivers get the support they need in their preferred languages. Tangie also helps lead on our Union’s commitment to race and social justice.

Tangie worked in healthcare contact centers before joining 775 as a workforce manager in the MRC and became director before being elected Vice President in 2021. In her time with the MRC, it has doubled in size.

Growing up, Tangie saw her grandmother struggle because translations were almost never available in Spanish, even in crucial settings like healthcare. It has always been a priority for her that the MRC has resources available in multiple languages, so they are accessible to all our members.

Tangie grew up in Southern California and has lived in the Seattle area with her family for the last 20 years.
